I skipped my ink drawing practice yesterday, but went back to the drawing board today. I’ve learned to pay attention when something inside my head whispers: “too much…”. That means it’s time to slow down a little, so that’s what I did.
This drawing is of a friendly little shop in Safranbolu, Turkey, where I visited in 2006. I have fond memories of this town in the hills with its lovely old houses – some renovated and others fallen in disrepair – , with winding paths and breathtaking views, friendly people and good food.
