For the past two year’s I’ve been fortunate to participate in FabrianoInAquarello, an international watercolor exhibition and convention in Fabriano, Italy – the eponymous town of the famous paper mill. Though unfortunately I haven’t been able to travel to Fabriano in person, it’s been an honor to have my work in the exhibition and to be one of the representatives of watercolor painting for my country.
The next edition of FabrianoInAquarello will take place in April 2017. This time, participating paintings for each country were selected by jury. I’m pleased to announce that my painting The Dawn has been selected to travel to Fabriano to be displayed among the works of fellow watercolorists from about 50 participating countries. The exhibition venues in Fabriano are absolutely gorgeous, the perfect setting for works of art.
I’ve heard from fellow artists that the festival in Fabriano is one of the best. There are workshops and demos by accomplished masters, and I’ve been told the atmosphere is wonderful – not to mention the surroundings and the food… One day I hope to go there, but whether that will be this coming spring remains to be seen. I’ll keep you posted.
