Featured art card: Dimming of the Day

Today, I am featuring another painting from my new art cards set, “Dimming of the Day” (2015). This watercolor is of a landscape in Turkey – you may have guessed from the mountains in the distance that it isn’t Holland…*
I was attracted by the silhouette of the trees flanking the dirt road, and the colors and atmosphere of dusk. The title refers to that time of day, and also to a lovely song by Richard Thompson. Here my favorite version by Alison Krauss:

Cards are on sale through March 21st. The original watercolor has been sold.
