No new drawing today… I was busy with other things, and will be very busy this weekend too, so I thought it would be nice to post an ink and watercolor drawing I did a while ago that I haven’t yet shared with the world at large. I’m calling this an interlude, because it’s not technically part of the Inktober challenge, but it still fits the theme.
This building is characteristic of the houses of old Ankara, in style as well as in color. Sadly, these traditional features and colors are rapidly disappearing in favor of ‘improvement’ and modernization.
Ankara Old House, Ink and watercolor on toned paper mounted on panel, 20×25 cm, June 2017.
I’ll be adding all still available Inktober drawings to my shop at the end of the month! Meanwhile, if you’d like to obtain one, just email me or pm me via social media.
