New Painting: Celestial Drama

It’s been quiet here on the blog, because I’ve been busy creating new paintings. Yay!
It always feels good to be making art again after working on the business side of the job for a prolonged period of time. Improving the website, designing new products and business cards etc., are valuable and necessary tasks, which I enjoy too, but after a while I start itching to hold a brush instead of tapping away at a keyboard.

This watercolor is entitled Celestial Drama, because… well, it’s obvious. We have these dramatic skies quite often here in Holland, and I never get tired of looking at them or painting them. Those of you who prefer blue skies will have to come back another day – this one is for the “rainy day people” among us.
