I love the Autumn colours “invitation to stroll” painting. I’m presently just getting used to summer this year and this is probably the first summer that I’m enjoying it for some reason, but fall is my favorite season and I know I look forward to it all the time. So thank you again for your lovely paintings Minke! I also wanted to say that I absolutely love your ink and drawings with watercolor – they are really inspiring me. I love to see the quaint little figures of people and animals in them and I really enjoy your depictions of architecture.
Thank you so much, Julie. Fall is my favorite too, though spring is a close second. In terms of painting though, fall is the winner… I just love the rich tapestry of colors nature throws out at that time of year. Glad you like my recent architectural drawings, too. I love nature, but I also enjoy the liveliness of cities with all the people and animals, and the colorful sense of history in the streets and houses.
