Azalea

I’m including this in the Gardens series, even though the technique and the resulting atmosphere are so different. This is not a sunlit, high contrast scene, but one with a more dreamy mood. I started this wet-in-wet, adding more layers of color as the paper slowly dried, and added a few crisp details at the end.
