Visitekaartjes Opening Reception

If you follow me on Facebook you may have already seen my post about the opening of the exhibit “Visitekaartjes”, but since this is going out to my subscribers by RSS newsletter tomorrow, I wanted to post here as well for those who have – perhaps wisely – chosen not to live the virtual life on Facebook.

So here’s a little photographic impression of the exhibition, which opened yesterday afternoon at Galerie Paterswolde to a huge crowd of art loving folks (the reason you don’t see those crowds in my pictures is that I waited patiently for a chance to get close enough to the art to take a few snapshots!) There was no way I could get pictures of all the art, though, so if you’re in the area, you may want to go see for yourself.

Congratulations to all the artists who created the little jewels on display, and many thanks to the staff of Galerie Paterswolde for pounding over 800 nails into the walls to hang this stunning exhibit!
