Altijd al graag sfeervolle landschappen willen schilderen in aquarel? Als je niet goed weet hoe je dat moet aanpakken, kom dan naar deze workshop. Bij Atelier AquarEllen in het idyllische dorp Zwiggelte, midden in Drenthe, gaan we aan de slag met verf, water en papier. Je leert hoe je een compositie opzet, kleuren harmonieus combineert, en hoe je de vormen in het landschap vereenvoudigt. Details zijn daarbij ondergeschikt aan sfeer. We besteden daarbij ook aandacht aan aquareltechnieken zoals nat-in-nat, droog-in-nat en nat-op-droog.
Er zijn meerdere B&B’s in en om Zwiggelte als jer er een weekendje Drenthe van wilt maken, wat ik zeker kan aanbevelen. Zin in?

If you’ve always wanted to paint atmospheric landscapes in watercolor but didn’t know how to go about it, come join my upcoming workshop at Atelier AquarEllen in idyllic Zwiggelte in the beautiful Dutch province of Drenthe on October 14th. We’ll get to work with paint, water, and paper. I’ll teach you how to design your painting, make harmonious color combinations, and simplify shapes in the landscape. Atmosphere is more important than details! We will also cover watercolor techniques such as wet-in-wet, dry-on-wet, and wet-on-dry. If you are in Holland mid-October, or would like an excuse to come visit our country, we’ll be delighted if you join us! There are several lovely B&B’s in and around Zwiggelte if you’d like to extend your stay in Drenthe – highly recommended!
The workshop is 70 Euros and includes lunch, coffee and tea. We start at 10 AM and finish around 4 PM.
